When will Haleakala erupt again? UH geologist gives free talk
When will Haleakala erupt again? Everyone wants to know. UH geology professor Dr. John Sinton will speak on the history and future of Haleakala volcanism at 7:00 pm Friday, March 16, in UH Maui College Ka Lama 103.
Attendees at the free, public talk may sign up for a follow-up field trip on Saturday, March 17. The event is sponsored by the Friends of Haleakala National Park. More information can be found at fhnp.org.
