Stormwater: Can a Problem Become a Resource
The Maui Nui Marine Resource Council and Maui Tomorrow Foundation will present the second in a series of flood forums for the South Maui area, "Stormwater: Can a Problem Become a Resource?" will be held at the Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary, 726 South Kihei Road on Friday, May 11, 2012 from 5:30-7:30 pm.
Bring your ideas to a fun and interactive community talk-story with experts including David Goode, Maui County Planing Department's director; Pamela Pogue with the Department of Water Supply: and the county's Environmental Coordinator, Rob Parsons. Also invited are Anna Faust, Maui County Civil Defense and Ranae Ganske-Cerizo, USDA, Soil and Water Conservation
