Maui Slam Poetry Event at Casanova's
In 2012 Maui Slam events will continue at Casanova in Makawao on the last Thursday of every 3rd month. The July Slam was Thursday July 26th. The next slam is October 25th, 2012 at 9:30pm.
Poets, spoken word artists, emcees of all levels, and anyone bold enough to step up to the mic and present their original work of three minutes or less are encouraged to compete for the $100 cash prize. This unique, wide-open poetry event will continue to include live art, theatrical performances, visual projections, music and dancing.
