Asian Blend's 40th Anniversary Celebration: A Food & Music Festival at Maui Tropical Plantation
On Saturday October 20th, the Asian Blend will celebrate their 40th year anniversary with a Food and Music day/night festival @ the Maui Tropical Plantation. We have planned out agenda and finances and would like to make a $ 2,000.00 donation to the Foundation to benefit the BHS Art program that is operating on a very limited school budget right now. We are also contributing to Hospice for this event. Proceeds will be dispersed that evening at the event.The event will feature a cooking demonstration and "tapas" by my son, Sheraton Waikiki's Senior Executive Sous chef Colin Hazama.
We will have Asian food stations located in the Field of Dreams from 11:00 a.m.-4 p.m. At 5:00 p.m. the cooking demonstration will begin with sampling and various Maui restaurants manning their food stations. There will be outdoor entertainment throughout the day.
The @ 7 p.m., the party will move indoors to the Tropical Showroom for Dance music furnished by Asian Blend and the Deja Vu Band.
It will an entertaining day with good food and music for all.
