Hale Mahaolu - “SPAMstruction” Event
Hale Mahaolu is celebrating its 45th Anniversary year . . . “Through the years . . . Remember, Live, Dream” . . .
On August 11, 2012 Hale Mahaolu is hosting a “SPAMstruction” competition and Health Fair (coordinated by the Maui Adult Day Care Centers) at Queen Kaahumanu Center. The “SPAMstruction” competition will feature the talents and creativity of 3 Key Clubs at Maui’s high schools. The $1,500 first prize will go towards the winning school’s Project Graduation Fund.
The competition is tentatively set to start at 9:00 a.m. and be completed by 11:30 a.m. After the close of the festivities, the Maui Food Bank and Feed My Sheep will retrieve the cans of SPAM, hopefully exceeding 6,000 cans.
