Malama Honokowai- Maui Cultural Lands LLC

In Honokowai Valley, restoration of an ancient farming archaelogical site has been ongoing, and on Wednesdays, volunteers venture deep into the realms of Honokowai of 5 hours of restorative work.   Efforts include preserving cultural resources, stabilizing archaelogical sites, and reforest the area using native hawaiian plants.  Volunteers meet at the Puukolii Train station in Lahaina at 9am. Day ends at 2:30pm.  Bring lunch, water, sunscreen, insect repellant, wear a hat, protective clothing, and gloves if available.  Be prepared to get dirty and enjoy the camaraderie.  Groups and families are welcome.  MCL is asking for your help to Malama (care for) our land, heritage, and our future.
