Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge Seasonal Summer Saturdays

Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge will be open on Saturday, August 11 from 8:00am-3:00pm. The Refuge is located at Milepost 6 Mokulele Highway (Hwy 311) in Kihei. Visitors to the Refuge can explore the new visitor center's interpretive displays and view native wetland birds, plants and insects at the Refuge's wildlife viewing area. A movie titled. "America's National Wildlife Refuge: Where Wildlife Comes First" will be shown continuosly from 9:30am-10:30am and from 1:00-2:00 pm. Spend some time outdoors and reconnect with nature at Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge.

A talk presented by Sonny Gamponia  titled, “Kealia Pond National Wildlife Refuge: Wetland Wonders” will be held at the visitor center from 11:00am- 11:45am.
