Paddle Imua 2013
Paddle Imua is a stand up paddle focused and multi paddle discipline, fun, open ocean
race, spanning ten miles from Maliko Gulch and finishing at the Hawaiian Canoe
Club all on Maui’s beautiful North Shore. Stand up Paddling is one of the world’s
fastest growing sports and over 175 racers come together to challenge the famed
“Maliko Run” during Paddle Imua. The fun race will end with a celebration of
food, live musical entertainment, gift bags and awards made possible by Bluesmiths
and supporting sponsors will commence. Paddle Imua is scheduled as a kick off
to the long distance paddling season and allows professional and novice
athletes and opportunity to train for the more competitive races of the season,
in a fun race which benefits a worthy cause.
