Maui Sea Turtle Symposium: Scientific, Cultural and Conservation Perspectives
This panel discussion about Hawaii's sea turtles offers you a look at scientific data about our local sea turtle populations, Hawaiian cultural practices relating to the turtles and local conservation efforts. It's free and open to all. The discussion takes place on Thursday, September 20 and begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 7:30 pm at Pacific Whale Foundation's Discovery Center, located on the lower level of the Ma'alaea Harbor Shops, adjacent to Maui Ocean Center.
