MBB at the 6th Annual Hui Holomua Business Fest - Advance RSVP required
Organized by the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce
This one day business retreat offers free workshops and opportunities to network with Hawaii’s top industrial, scientific, commercial and political leaders—all with a focus on preserving and practicing Hawaiian culture and values in today’s world.
The day’s events begin with the ceremonial arrival and delivery of the symbolic ko‘i, or the Hawaiian stone adze, accompanied by 12 canoes. According to MNHCC, the ko‘i was adopted as a symbol of commerce and work ethic, because as a tool used by early man and highly prized by Hawaiians, the ko‘i helped them to shape their world to survive in the most isolated group of Pacific Islands by enabling them to hollow canoes, build homes, and carve bowls and weapons.
$30 per attendee: all day pass (included breakfast, lunch and pupus at the end of the day.)
