Maui Pride
Maui Pride October 5-7th
The celebration will include a private VIP reception at the Maui Sunseeker and free all ages ‘80s kick-off party at Sharky’s in Kihei Friday night.
Saturday’s festival will be held at the Maui Tropical Plantation which includes a hike, entertainment on the community stage along with vendor booths and Hawaiian cultural activities. Saturday evening there will be a private dinner with a special luau performance, evening entertainment by the Deborah Vial band and dance music by DJ Ron.
Sunday will conclude the weekend with a social breakfast at Stella Blue’s.
This is different than what has been done for Prides in the past. We’re mixing Hawaiian culture, diversity and a little bit of that mainland festival feel. As part of the organization’s new mission, Maui Pride seeks to provide stronger support to LGBT youth.
