Maui Mauka Conservation Awareness Training
This 3-hour training seeks to connect tourism professionals with conservation professionals. It's an opportunity to learn about Maui’s unique natural environment, including the forests of Haleakalā, native forest birds, unique plants, and how Maui is addressing invasive species concerns.
Tourism professionals can then provide this information to visitors and locals that utilize their services. Fact sheets and field guides are available for you to take home.
Presentations are given by 4 conservation professionals from 4 organizations. Please sign up either through firstname.lastname@example.org or mauimauka.org.
