Maui County's 1st Brownfields & Redevelopment Workshop
Join us for a workshop to learn the process of redeveloping underutilized property due to contamination or perceived contamination (aka “brownfields”). This day-long event will walk you through the step-by-step process of turning unproductive properties into much needed affordable housing, commercial enterprises, and open recreational space. The workshop is being co-sponsored by the Hawaii Department of Health (HDOH), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the Center for Creative Land Recycling (CCLR).
Seasoned professionals and experts with local experience will speak about brownfields redevelopment, land recycling, cleanup of contaminated properties and available brownfields grants and loans.
