County of Maui's Wastewater Community Working Group Meeting

The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management (DEM) will be conducting its monthly meeting of the Wastewater Community Working Group on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Lahaina Civic Center at 1840 Honoapiilani Highway, Lahaina. The public is encouraged to attend, and is invited to participate in the comment period at the end of the meeting.

 

The working group represents a broad range of constituencies on the island of Maui; its August 5th meeting will be the ninth meeting held since the group was convened by Mayor Charmaine Tavares in October 2009. The group’s objective is to provide DEM’s Wastewater Reclamation Division with community-based recommendations for the recycling of wastewater.
