These are the main cues in Yin Yoga, a slow and gentle practice that nourish connective tissues and stimulate energy flow along acupuncture lines for improved range of motion, healthy organs and joints and a calm state of mind. Sookie Kunst, registered yoga teacher for over 12 years, offers weekly Yin Yoga classes on Fridays from 8:00-9:30am overlooking the ocean, under the shade at Waipuilani Park in Kihei. Suggested donation is $12 / class. Free for Pacific Cancer Foundation clients. Bring a yoga or exercise mat and two firm beach towels for props.
