Mahjong games and instruction are being held at the Wo Hing Museum and Cookhouse on Front Street every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 10 am - noon. Participation is free. Experienced and beginner players are welcome. Game sets will be provided.
Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game believed to have been developed during the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1912). It is a popular game that today is often played on a computer. Games at the Wo Hing Museum are played with traditional tiles under the shade of the starfruit tree.
