July Bike Ride - 27 Miles - 7:45am July 9/22
This event is part of the Maui Cycle Exploration program, a monthly ride series hosted by Maui Bicycling League that encourages residents and visitors to explore various parts of the island by bike! If you can't make this one, we encourage you to look into participating in a future event. Registration is required for all rides.
WHEN: July 9 at 7:45am
Location: Park and meet at Kalama Park in Kihei.
ABOUT: We will ride approximately 14 miles north in the designated bike lane on the Honoapiilani Hwy until we reach Maui Coffee Attic in Wailuku. The group will stop for coffee and refreshments before heading back to Kalama Park on the bike path of Maui Veterans Hwy. The 27.2 mile loop is mostly flat, with less than 600 ft of total elevation gain.
Ride Leaders: Alan and Chuck.
This ride is intended for intermediate and advanced riders who can maintain average speeds of 12-14mph. E-bikes are welcome! Equipment is not provided and helmets are required for all riders.
