We are thrilled to announce the opening of our latest exhibit, celebrating the extraordinary work of Hideki Iwanaga and the Iwanaga Photo Studio, which documented generations of plantation families, community life, and local celebrations here on Maui.
This collection is far more than photographs - it is a living archive of identity, resilience, and memory. We are honored to share these images with our community and to shine a light on the people who helped shape plantation-era Maui. This exhibit is ongoing during museum hours, Monday-Thursday, 10am-2pm with last admission at 1 pm. You can also view it here: www.iwanagaphotostudio.com/
