FREE event! Kung Hee Fat Choy! Maui's biggest Chinese New Year Festival is here!! Maui Mall Village 9 am - 3 pm. This is a community & family festival featuring Maui’s most exclusive Chinese cultural entertainment talents. Grab your good luck at the Lion Dance Blessing by Maui Chinese Martial Arts & Lion Dance Assoc., featuring performances at 10 am and 1 pm. Entertainment by Taiji on Maui, Ohana Martial Arts, T’ai Chi Ch’uan on Maui, Exergy 35 Edutainment Dragon Parade and Chinese Ribbon Dance. Family activities include come-in-costume for the Keiki Chinese Fashion Show, the first 80 keiki will receive free goodie bags. Activities include free Keiki Arts & Crafts, Chinese Calligraphy, Chinese Altar Table, Keiki Chinese Art Contest display, Chinese history display.
Learn the secrets of Chinese Cooking at the Chinese Cooking Demonstration by Chef Dean Louie and Chef Wesley Yee. Onolicious Chinese food by Only Ono BBQ, Holo Holo Garlic Noodles, Fiya Foods, Ano Farms, Siu?s Kitchen and more. Exclusive festival Tshirts featuring Year of the Horse design by Paulo Sabado from Sabado Art Maui. Recycling for this event will be provided by Teens on Call.
