After a record-breaking storm forced a temporary pause on the festivities, the only radio station broadcasting from our beautiful island of Maui is ready to turn the music back up. Mana’o Radio (KMNO 91.7 FM) is officially announcing the new date for its "Boogie Fever" 24th anniversary bash: Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Mulligans on the Blue.
While the original March event was sidelined by heavy rains and localized flooding, the spirit of Human-Powered Radio remains unshaken. The community is invited to dust off their platform shoes once more for a night of disco, funk, and resilience.
Tickets are available online at manaoradio.com/boogie.
The recent storms did more than just postpone the party. The Mana’o Radio headquarters sustained damage due to flooding during the deluge. Now more than ever, the "Boogie Fever" fundraiser is a critical lifeline for the station.
Proceeds from the event will not only support the KMNO app and daily operations, but will also be directly funneled into the repair and restoration of the station's physical studio. Supporting this event means helping keep Maui’s independent voice on the air as they rebuild from the water damage.
The lineup for the rescheduled June 13th event remains as groovy as ever. Shea Derrick and the Full Flavor Band will headline the evening with powerhouse disco, funk, and soul. Plus, DJ Chris Ca’ryn kicks off the party with essential retro jams. Guests are highly encouraged to wear their best disco-themed attire. A selfie-style photo booth will be on-site to capture the best looks of the night.
Every ticket purchased helps repair the studio and ensures another 24 years of listener-supported broadcasting.
"Our community has always been the 'power' in our human-powered radio," said station organizers. "While the flooding was a setback, it’s also a reminder of why we do this—to stay connected through the highs and the lows. We can’t wait to see everyone on the dance floor in June to help us get our home back in tip-top shape."
The new date is Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Mulligans on the Blue, Kihei. Tickets are $45 and must be purchased in advance.
