The mission of Women Helping Women is to end domestic violence through advocacy, education, and prevention, and to offer safety, support, and empowerment to women and children, victims of domestic violence.
If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship and needs help or would like to speak with someone about domestic violence, confidential help is available 24 hours a day. Our staff is prepared to assist callers in preparing safety plans, respond to general questions about domestic violence, provide referrals, and share additional information about our programs and services.
Staying Safe Online
These days women also need to learn how to avoid putting themselves at risk of hacking, doxing, and other types of online harassment. This Online Security Guide for Women explains what steps to take to stay safe on all the various platforms.
A support group used to meet at 5-6pm at Kahului Seventh-Day Adventist Church and at 6-8pm in Wailuku but I have to check on the current times and locations. There is also a Children's support education group and parenting support group for moms & dads. Call 808-579-9581 or 808-242-0775.
